Youth

We believe that each person is created uniquely by God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; for by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things were created through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). Ministry to young people is a vibrant and an exciting work which is greatly significant to the life of the church. Thus, teaching young people about Jesus Christ is a service to them, the church family, and to the kingdom of God and God himself. Each young person has different qualities and struggles, and our Lord Jesus Christ wants to mould them into His image.

Vision

The generalized vision of the House of the Lord Church International is to be a ‘house of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7). In complimenting this vision the youth ministry’s extended vision of the youth coming in this house of prayer is to create a “prayerful, Holy Spirit led and righteous future leaders for the church and the world at large. Luke 22:40 – “When He arrived at the place, He said to them, ‘pray continually that you may not fall into temptation’. Romans 8:14 – “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”Proverbs 29:2 – When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice..”

Objectives

  1. To teach Christ crucified and regard the cross as the main source of wisdom and power
  2. To create a spiritually charged environment through praise and worship for the manifestation of the power of God
  3. To teach people to entirely depend on God instead of men of God

Youth services

The youth ministry conducts their services every Friday from 17h30 to 20h30.

The monthly schedule for the purpose of the day will comprise of the following four core activities for that week:

  1. Praise and worship night
  2. Discussions, test, quizzes,
  3. Sermon
  4. Entertainment

It is also worth noting that in every purpose of the day a word from the Bible will be shared as we are always gathered for the sake of the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and He always watches over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12).
